Greece’s Performance Shipping has strengthened in the clean tanker sector with a raid on the fleet of Latsco Shipping.
The US-listed owner said it had agreed a price of $43.75m for the 105,500-dwt LR2 Fos Hamilton (built 2013).
The vessel is rated as worth $48.7m by VesselsValue, up from $32m a year ago.
Latsco acquired the ship in 2018 from Turkey’s Marinsa Shipping for $29.5m,
