Greece's Evangelos Marinakis has pulled more than 20 tankers out of joint operating agreements with Diamond S Shipping after the US shipowner's recent announcement of a pooling alliance with Norden.
The withdrawal of the MR tankers that had previously been in the fleet of Marinakis-backed Capital Product Partners was to be expected after Diamond S decided to go its own way, shifting 28 vessels to Norden’s Norient Tankers pool.
