The US has convinced China to back off Iranian oil purchases, US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said over the weekend.
Speaking on Fox News Sunday morning, Mnuchin said US sanctions had cut off "probably over 95%" of Iran's oil revenues, with much of the remainder headed to China.
"I sat down with Chinese officials. They flew in a delegation to meet with us in the State Department to talk about this," he said.
