Two VLCCs are taking “unprecedented” voyages with combined loads of Russian and Chinese oil, and their ultimate destinations are a mystery.
Oil consultancy Kpler’s vessel tracking has identified the Chinese-controlled vessels transporting Chinese crude and condensate together with naphtha from Russia.
The cargoes were loaded separately before the vessels headed towards South America, the company said.
