Lomar Shipping has completed a $160m purchase of German tanker owner Carl Buttner.
The Nicholas Georgiou-led company will take over six chemical product tankers of 25,000 dwt to 40,000 dwt.
Lomar will also take over the Bremen-based owner’s ship management and crewing operations.
The move marks a new era for Carl Buttner Holding.
