Danish tanker owner Nordic Shipholding is to be wound up after failing to find a merger partner.
The Knud Pontoppidan-chaired product carrier specialist said extensive discussions had been held with potential partners and its lenders to try to secure the long-term viability of the group.
But these talks have now "stalled", the company admitted.
