Norway's Odfjell has taken more steps to renew its fleet as rates rise in the chemical tanker sector.

As it reported fourth-quarter earnings, the chemical tanker owner said it is replacing two chartered ships with two newbuildings due in 2022.

It has signed long-term time charters to bring in the 25,000-dwt stainless steel vessels, but did not reveal where they are being built.
