All nine crew kidnapped from an Oceangold Tankers ships last month off Benin have been released.
The Greek owner told TradeWinds it was "very pleased" to confirm that the seafarers were freed on Friday.
It gave no further details of how this was achieved, but added: "All of them are well and safe.
