Moscow may be able redirect three-quarters of its crude exports to markets outside of Europe when the continent halts Russian oil imports from December, according to energy analyst Rystad.

The “worst is yet to come” for Russia, the analyst said, but shifting trading patterns could see tanker owners benefit from longer-distance voyages and better rates for crude and product carriers.
