South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries has said a European owner is paying KRW 187.5bn ($158m) for two new ice-class aframaxes.
The vessels will be delivered by March, 2022, the shipbuilder said in a regulatory statement, without naming its client.
The tankers will be capable of operating safely in ice of up to 70cm in thickness and in temperatures of minus 30 degrees Celsius.
