Samudera Shipping has placed three containerships and two chemical tankers on the sales market after deeming them to be surplus to requirements.

Up for grabs are the Indonesian-flagged, 11,200-dwt chemical tankers Sinar Agra (built 2006) and 10,600-dwt Sinar Busan (built 2006).

Officials at the Singapore-listed company said it would like to sell the pair and replace them with younger vessels that have larger tank capacities.
