Sentek Marine & Trading is making another big expansion into the large tanker sector, with a $224m order for its first suezmaxes.
The Singapore bunker company has signed up for four 158,000-dwt crude carriers at New Times Shipbuilding in China, industry sources said. The deal is for two firm vessels for delivery in 2021, plus two options.
A Sentek official declined to comment.
