AET Inc, the tanker arm of Malaysian shipping conglomerate MISC Berhad, has signed a long-term time-charter contract with Shell’s Brazil Shipping Limited 1 for a 152,700 dwt DP2 shuttle tanker.
The company will build the ship at an as-yet undisclosed South Korean shipyard with delivery anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Although earmarked for Brazilian waters, AET said that the vessel would be capable of operating globally.
