Ship speeds in some sectors are at an all-time low in response to environmental targets over fuel use, Clarksons Research believes.
The UK company has noted record low rates of knots for LNG carriers, bulkers and product tankers this year.
Researcher Oran Creedon said this is in contrast to the mixed trends in 2024 across all sectors.
