Dr Janil Puthucheary, Singapore’s Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Communications and Information says shipowners will have no problems procuring sufficient volumes of IMO 2020 compliant fuel in the city-state’s port from 1 January next year.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Sea Asia conference in Singapore today, Puthucheary assured the shipping industry that the country has been working with industry stakeholders and bunker suppliers to ensure a smooth transition to IMO 2020 compliance.
