Suezmax tankers are moving out of the Indian trades as part of a major market shift towards VLCCs by the South Asian nation’s crude importers.

Although the traditional workhorses of Indian crude trade, suezmaxes have been sent packing as refiners scale down their crude purchases and work-hungry VLCCs price them out of the market, according to analysts at data firm Vortexa.
