Tanker shipments are about to take a heavy hit from a crude export force majeure in Ecuador.

Oil company Petroecuador has shut in production of the Napo grade after heavy rains caused erosion that halted operations at oil wells and the key OCP pipeline.

Analytics company Kpler said the country’s waterborne oil exports are expected to decline sharply by nearly 100,000 barrels per day month on month to 293,000 bpd in June.
