Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) managed to stay in the black in the third quarter, which is usually the weakest period of the year.

The Tsakos family-controlled owner of nearly 70 tankers reported net income of $1.4m on Monday, compared with a net loss of $9.5m in the same quarter of 2019. The US-listed company's gross revenue generated by its vessels also rose by 9% to $142.8m.
