Torm chief executive Jacob Meldgaard has no concerns over the market implications of a return to the Red Sea.
The Danish boss believes a growth in short-haul volumes would cancel out the hit that product tankers would take from the unwinding of the extra tonne-miles generated by ships going around South Africa, should the Suez Canal route become safe once more.
