A week after its financial reorganisation with a new investment partner, UK fund Tufton Oceanic Assets has built its fleet to 20 vessels with an acquisition.

The London-listed operation said it is spending $15.2m on an unnamed stainless-steel chemical tanker.

The vessel will be employed in a leading chemical carrier pool, where it will earn a monthly floating charter rate based on the performance of the pool overall.
