Mississippi shipyard TY Offshore has clinched an order for another six tank barges.
FMT Industries of Florida already has four 30,000-barrels units being built at TY for delivery from next month.
The additional six will follow at monthly intervals.
They were options held since the original contract went ahead last October.
John Dane, TY CEO, said the deal guaranteed 200 workers will be employed over the next 20 months.
