The struggling VLCC sector has taken another knock after ships booked on subjects failed to be confirmed for voyages.
Clarksons Platou Securities said brokers have also reported a handful of big tankers fixed from the Middle East Gulf, but without rate details.
"[This] likely means rates are not that great, or else someone would have reported it," the Norwegian investment bank said.
