Matthieu de Tugny, executive vice president of French classification society Bureau Veritas (BV), says the country’s maritime community is united in helping the shipping industry achieve the decarbonisation goals laid out in the Paris Agreement on climate change.
Speaking in London this week, he said that under the instruction of French President Emmanuel Macron, all sectors of the French maritime cluster are working towards a carbon-free future.
