Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has beat its CO2 reduction target two years early.

It credits fleet renewal, green-tech, operational excellence and alternative marine fuels for the achievement.

The company began releasing details of its CO2 emissions last year, saying it was "critical" that it quantified the environmental impact of its ships.

Eastern Pacific uses the industry-accepted Annual Efficiency Ratio (AER) to measure its environmental performance.
