NYK Shipmanagement (NYKSM) has taken its ship-maneuvering training on-line in an effort to overcome the travel restrictions caused by Covid-19.
The Singapore-based company’s training centre has teamed up with PSA Marine’s PSAM Academy to provide training that makes use of NYKSM’s advanced ship-maneuvering simulator.
NYKSM said it typically uses its ship-maneuvering simulator to train around 100 people annually in safe vessel operations.
