A German company operating deepsea research vessels is to enter the bulk-carrier market on the back of orders in China for handymaxes and it plans to add panamax tonnage to its operation at a later date.
RF Forschungsschiffahrt (RF) of Bremen, part of the Klaus Thesenfitz´s Linnhoff Schiffahrt group, has inked contracts for a couple of handymax bulkers for delivery in 2005, according to sources.
