MOL confirms that it has acquired Hoegh’s 20% stake in NMCC to take its holding to 90%, although it declines to disclose the reasons behind the move.
It is understood the remaining 10% is held by Nissan Motor Co.
This year NMCC celebrated its 50th anniversary. It has been working with Hoegh for 45 years. Hoegh also partnered NMCC closely on its Asia-to-Europe service.
