Hudong-Zhonghua will build two post-panamaxes for a US company.
New York-based Foremost Maritime has ordered two 87,000-dwt post-panamax bulkers from Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding in Shanghai.
Well-placed sources say the order was made earlier this year but it has just been reported. The state-owned yard is expected to deliver the vessels in 2013.
The price of the bulkers has not been disclosed but some market players suggest they will cost $37.5m
