Greek owners mature into the business

Greek LNG shipowners have differing approaches to the sector but some of those first into the business are now starting to spread their wings.

John Angelicoussis’ Maran Gas Maritime currently has the largest fleet. At 26 ships, the company controls more than one-third of the Greek-owned LNG ships.

Maran’s first foray into the sector was with Qatar, chartering out its initial clutch of ships to the Middle East state producing giant.
