Verband Deutscher Reeder (VDR), the German shipowners’ association, has unveiled a new management team as it upscales up its lobbying in Berlin, Brussels and London.
Dirk Max Johns and Martin Kroger will work alongside former senator Ralf Nagel, managing director of VDR.
The association is watching closely the European Commission (EC)’s investigation into tonnage-tax concessions for owners and the implications this may have for the flagging of German vessels.
