Dear Matey,
When it comes to phobias, I have to confess mine is water. Anything above four feet makes me terribly nervous, which might seem a bit strange coming from a seasoned seafarer, but as I have always maintained, the whole point of sailing is not to get one's feet wet.
Not that this aversion to the wet stuff has adversely affected my pursuits.
