Shipowner Jan Petter Roed is expected to book a healthy profit on the sale of his ferry company Norse Irish Ferries (NIF) to Cenargo International.

However, Roed´s son Petter, who runs the Colchester-based Norse group on a day-to-day basis with James Pepper, declines to comment as the deal still is on subjects.

NIF´s fleet consists of two modern ro-pax ferries, the 21,000-gt Mersey Viking and Lagan Viking (both built 1997), that are chartered in.
