Oaktree Capital Management could book a tasty $40m profit from just two ships if rumoured talks to sell the combination carriers (OBO) to Greece’s Onassis Group materialise.

According to market sources, the US private-equity investor is in negotiations with the traditional Greek owner to divest the 319,900-dwt Selma B (ex-D Whale, built 2010) and Camilla T (ex-H Whale, built 2011).

One broker puts a likely, unconfirmed, $80m price tag on each of the ships, without naming the prospective buyer.
