The Hong Kong High Court has invited offers for the 33,300-dwt Apellis (built 2010). Interested buyers must submit bids by 4 October, says the court’s registrar. The successful bidder is scheduled to be notified by 12 October.
The ship was under the management of Pyrsos Shipping in Piraeus, a company headed by Katerina Xylas.
Pyrsos managers were unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
