Swiss Re has started to rebuild its London hull business by relocating veteran underwriter Andrea Cupido to the UK.
Cupido has already transferred from Genoa and tells TradeWinds he is looking at potential recruits as well as maintaining service to clients after most of the hull team left over recent months.
He has a near 30-year background in the marine insurance market working for Unione Mediterranea di Sicurta and Generali before moving into broking as director general of Cambiaso Risso Marine.
