Connecticut-based Eagle Bulk Shipping is strongly believed to the the buyer of the latest vessel sold by Scorpio Bulkers in its fleet disposal aimed at a transition to the wind power industry.
Scorpio did not identify the buyer of the 63,600-dwt SBI Gemini (built 2015) for about $16m in a move that reduced its fleet to 31, but market sources strongly tipped New York-listed Eagle to be the buyer.
