A Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) capesize has become the second bulker to suffer an outbreak of Covid-19 off Australia’s Port Hedland.

The 174,700-dwt Vega Dream (built 2010) had a crew member transferred ashore on Sunday after reporting that he felt unwell.

Western Australia’s Department of Health later confirmed that he had returned a positive Covid-19 result via rapid test.
