Singapore gas buyer Pavilion Energy has shortlisted shipowners to build up to two midsize LNG carriers it is looking to utilise for project-related business.

Industry sources working closely with the project named those selected as BW LNG, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, Malaysia’s MISC Berhad, H-Line Shipping of South Korea and Evangelos Marinakis-controlled Capital Maritime & Trading.

They indicated that these owners have offered in proposals for the two 80,000-cbm LNG carriers, which Pavilion emerged in the market for last year.
