Belgian tanker owner Transpetrol is poised to renew its fleet with the sale of two 13-year-old MR vessels to an undisclosed buyer.
The STX Offshore & Shipbuilding-constructed, 46,000-dwt Reliance II and Advance II (both built 2006) have gone for $14m each, according to US brokers.
Some European brokers said the reports are premature and that Transpetrol is still looking for a buyer.
