Police found hand-written notes in the suspect’s possession, which contained “detailled information” on Marinakis’s home, place of work and company, Public Order Minister Vassilis Kikilias said in a press conference.

The notes also contained the telephone numbers of the Union of Greek Shipowners (UGS), Kikilias said.

Other possible targets of an apparently imminent, 4 October attack were the Chairman of the Federation of Greek Industries Theodoros Fessas, Greece’s ruling conservative New Democracy party and Germany’s Siemens, Kililias said.
