A Fiji ferry company is considering stopping its operations as it runs short of cash.
Local media said Saliabasaga Shipping wants to sell its vessel Tunatuki after laying off all its workers because it could not afford to repair the ship, which is a converted Russian trawler.
Saliabasaga director Leba Mataitini said the cash it received for the state-subsidised service was not enough to hire a slipway and pay staff.
