Dae Sun Shipbuilding has finally put pen to paper on more orders for its popular series of feeder containerships.
Taiwanese shipowner TVL has confirmed orders for two 1,800-teu vessels with deliveries scheduled for the first half of 2017.
No financial terms were disclosed, but shipbrokers suggest that the owner is paying around $25m for each of the vessels.
Dae Sun tells TradeWinds that it now has eight of this class of vessel on its orderbook for owners such as Cosmoship Management and Dongjin Shipping.
