Dae Sun Shipbuilding has secured another newbuilding order for its popular 1,800-teu feeder containership design.
Compatriot shipowner Pan Continental Shipping has ordered a single vessel for delivery in the first half of 2017.
Pan Continental Shipping has a fleet of four containerships on the water including a 840-teu feeder delivered from Dae Sun in 2004.
The Seoul–based shipowner also has two 1,000-teu feederships on order at South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard for delivery in 2016.
