Icelandic boxship owner Eimskip is facing a walk-out by some crew after failing to reach a deal with one of its unions.
It said a strike has been called by the Iceland Seaman’s Union for 16 January.
The owner said it had been in talks for months over an agreement.
Negotiations are ongoing and the action will be called off if a deal is struck.
