Japan's MOL has bought into a Malaysian logistics company to spearhead expansion in the country.
It said it had taken a 20.9% stake in PKT Logistics Group, a provider of freight forwarding, customs brokerage, contract logistics, haulage, distribution and other services.
PKT owns warehouses at its One Logistics Hub in Shah Alam, Selangor.
MOL said that since 2000, the Malaysian economy has consistently seen annual growth rates of over 5% and it is expected to continue growing strongly.
