MOL's Ikeda: 'We're all going to go bust'

MOL CEO Junichiro Ikeda has warned disaster lies ahead for shipowners if they cannot pass on the cost of new sulphur cap rules.

Owners must either install exhaust gas scrubbers or start buying more expensive low-sulphur bunkers from 2020.

And the Japanese boss told the Financial Times that if owners have to absorb the cost, "we're all going to go bust."
