Rickmers Trust Management (RTM) will not publish its quarterly financial results this month as the company is being wound up.

Its decision to not report first quarter results follows the cancellation of the annual general meeting (AGM), which was scheduled for late April.

Rickmers explained that it wanted to avoid unnecessary costs from convening an AGM.

The former boxship owner also notified investors that company secretary Low Geok Eng Susie has resigned with immediate effect.

The company failed to obtain noteholders’ approval to restructure its SGD 100m ($71.5m) 8.45% medium-term notes after months of discussions.

New York-listed Navios Maritime Partners agreed to pay $113m to take control of 14 ships owned by Rickmers.
