Thai RCL reports larger loss to start 2016

Regional Container Lines recorded a loss to start this year.

The Thai shipowner reported a consolidated loss of THB 243.3m ($6.9m) for the first quarter of this year. That compares to a net profit of THB 172.9m from the year earlier. On a per share basis, RCL reported a loss of THB 0.29 compared to a loss of THB 0.21 a year earlier.
