Zim Integrated Shipping Services is quitting the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement (TSA) at the end of the year.

The Israeli carrier is understood to be withdrawing from the transpacific liner shipping lobby on 31 December.

Zim would not comment on the reason for its departure, which comes after announcing plans to restructure its services on the major trade lanes.

The company signed up to the TSA in 2007 when it was one of 14 lines in the lobby, which issues guidance for contract rates on trades from Asia to the US.
