Greek bulker owner Navios Maritime Holdings (NM) has posted a bigger loss in the second quarter as rates fell.

The net deficit was $36.43m, from $25.29m in 2018.

It was also burdened by a higher loss from affiliated companies.

Overall revenue grew to $147.2m from $132m.

But the company said bulker revenue dropped as time charter equivalent (TCE) rates fell 10.9%
